How can I edit the author of a PDF in a Windows Vista folder?

I can change the properties of a PDF, including the author details but I cannot change the author that is displayed in the Windows folder that the PDF is kept in. There is a tab in the folder with the heading author but it doesn’t show the author according to the PDF properties. Is there a way of editing this field?

How can I hack a SolidWorks file to change the creator/author?

I have a SolidWorks file and I need to change the author of that file. Currently each build in the left hand-side pane says that it was created by ‘X’ and I want to change this to ‘Y’. Basically, hacking the file and changing the properties. (This isn’t as illegitimate as it sounds!) Thanks!

How can I make it so Microsoft reader will automatically display the title and author correctly?

I am putting them on my PPC and they are often showing the file name as the title with no-or inaccurate-author information. Changing the information in the Properties area only sometimes works. Is there a format for the file name that would work? Anything easier?
