I think it might be called Bear but basically there is an author who writes a book while in a cave, but loses the manuscript and leaves. A bear finds it, learns how to read, starts acting like a human, and gets the book published. Later the original author sues him, but fails, and the bear is pressured into writing a sequel, but finds it difficult. What is the name and author of this book? Thanks.
The Bear Went Over the Mountain (1996) is a novel by William Kotzwinkle.

However, my strength certainly lies in my creativity and ability to generate interesting stories. How do i recognize the tone that the author is creating?
